Polaris Insight Center

Ketamine Assisted Group Therapy at Polaris Insight Center is offered exclusively for those who are interested in undergoing intensive ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in a group setting.

These short and longer-term therapy groups consist of a small number of clients and generally two facilitators. Groups meet for a series of experiential sessions (4 hours each), along with an initial 90-minute preparation session. Interspersed with experiential sessions are 90-minute integration sessions.

Booster Group

• Booster groups are for past and current Polaris Insight Center clients, who are referred to the group by their treating therapist. IM ketamine groups are held in-office and facilitated by a senior therapist and a medical provider. We are also now offering online booster groups, in an at-home, lozenge format.

Additional Services

• A variety of adjunctive therapeutic services are offered, including sound healing sessions, mindfulness meditation integration groups, and peer-led community integration groups.

Clinicians’ Support Group

• We also provide open, drop-in KAP groups for clinicians who are seeking treatment and support around professional stressors, compassion fatigue, and burnout. Prior individual KAP session is required.

Statement of Commitment

We recognize our valuable connections with various professional communities, at the local, national, and international levels, in both research and practice.

We also acknowledge the importance of our diverse lineages of teachers and mentors who have inspired us to develop our clinical practice and our training program with the values of inclusivity, mindfulness, and compassion, and with great respect for the potential of expanded states of consciousness in healing.

In our work and teaching, we pay homage to the indigenous peoples who were the originators and keepers of shamanic healing traditions for thousands of years that continue to influence our work in ways that extend beyond the knowable. And, we honor the first wave of psychedelic researchers and clinicians, who pioneered the integration of psychedelic medicines and treatment protocols into the mental health field.

As a team of practitioners, we at Polaris are committed to cultivating greater connection to each other and deeper fulfillment in our own lives. We believe that personal transformation happens through self-discovery and realizing our full potential, while helping others to do the same.
