from diagnosis to post-treatment integration, somatic homecoming practices support you on each step of your breast cancer journey. our work is tailored to your unique experience and can focus on

  • befriending your body,

  • embracing your body as it is and as it is becoming,

  • being with the full spectrum of your emotions and resourcing yourself for the road ahead,

  • honoring your story,

  • turning on your body’s communication & intuition systems – recognizing your yes, your no, and your maybe,

  • reclaiming agency by articulating boundaries and asking for what you want,

  • learning to receive care, touch, and support,

  • practicing pre and post surgical embodiment,

  • exploring body image and identity,

  • undressing or mirror work,

  • body and scar mapping to learn and come home to your body,

  • learning how to work with scar tissue and reeducate your nerves,

  • releasing shame, navigating trauma, and exploring grief in the body,

  • soothing your nervous system,

  • pleasure re:awakening & libido support,

  • building intimacy with partners during and after treatment

Services are offered in-person in Portland, OR and online worldwide.

This work is grounded in somatic sex education and sexological bodywork modalities. If your journey calls for it, our work together can include one-way, client-directed touch in service to your learning. All touch is conducted in accordance with the ethical code of the ACSB.
